Silver Sky Debuts 'Aquarius,' $17 Million Estate in Prime PV Location

Ultra-Luxury Home Release for 12-Property Development Features Wayfinding Water Elements, Sweeping PV Views and Resort-Style Modern Luxury

By Christina Caldwell | November 9, 2023

Scottsdale-based home developer Silver Sky Development has announced the sale of Aquarius, the $17 million, CP Drewett-designed, ultra-luxury home named for the “water carrier” of the zodiac. Aquarius is the third release for the 12-property development taking shape at the base of Mummy Mountain in Paradise Valley.

The 5-bedroom, 7.5-bath home features 9,635 square feet of stunning amenities across a 1.32-acre property. Aquarius pays homage to water with a central point zero-edge pool and spa that immerses itself into the home's design. Additional water features include an entry courtyard pond and a primary bedroom featuring an outdoor oasis with dual showers.

"An intimate relationship between water and architecture is emblematic of a luxury living experience,” said CP Drewett, the famed Scottsdale-based architect behind Drewett Works Architecture. “The water features and pool on this house double as wayfinding tools, leading from the driveway, to the entry courtyard, through the foyer and into the main entertaining and outdoor space. In this way, the water appears to flow through the house along this entry sequence.”

Aquarius embraces a lifestyle of indoor-outdoor living inspired by coastal Mediterranean destinations such as Ibiza, combined with the iconic modernist architecture of Palm Springs. Featuring a natural and bright color palette, Aquarius blends California minimalism with stunning amenities at every turn, including:

  • A sweeping roof deck with a bar, offering staggering views of Paradise Valley

  • Chef’s kitchen featuring Wolf & Subzero appliances

  • Temperature-controlled wine wall

  • Spacious office

  • Gym with combination steam room/sauna

  • Indoor/outdoor bar

  • Guest suite with private entrance

  • Two large secondary bedrooms with ensuite baths

  • Expansive pocket sliders to create a true indoor-outdoor living experience

  • Private backyard seating area with fire pit

  • A four-car garage

Silver Sky Development has amassed a roster of “who’s who” in ultra-luxury home design and construction to bring Aquarius to life, including interiors by Ownby Design, lighting by Creative Designs in Lighting, and landscape by Berghoff Design Group.

“Aquarius is truly unlike any other home in Paradise Valley — or in Arizona, for that matter,” said Jeremy Takas, Partner at Silver Sky Development. “This exceptional home will be constructed with top-quality materials and steel framing, giving it a long lifespan, integrity, and stability. That means we had to amass a true dream team to bring from concept to completion. We know that with the experts involved, Aquarius will become a generational estate for one very lucky and discerning buyer.”

Silver Sky Paradise Valley’s 12 ultra-custom homes will be built across 17 acres of pristine Paradise Valley land. Previously owned by the legendary Cheney ranch family for more than 85 years, the land is one of the last vacant sites in the highly coveted Paradise Valley community.
