Silver Sky Development has announced the debut of Nova, the nearly $18.5 million, 12,000 square-foot, European Transitional estate envisioned by Stratton Architects, led by architect Stratton Andrews. Nova is set to become one of 12 ultra-luxury homes in the Silver Sky Paradise Valley community taking shape at the base of Mummy Mountain.

Upon completion, Nova is set to become a standout Paradise Valley estate, even amongst the elite homes in the community. The 11,965 square-foot, 6-bedroom, 7 full bathroom, 3 powder room residence features floor-to-ceiling windows, a five-car garage, spa treatment area with steam room, butler’s pantry, game room, lounge with a built-in wine wall and indoor/outdoor wet bar, two offices, casita with a bedroom and private pool bath, pickleball court and more.

Nova was named for Andrews’ meteoric rise in the world of architecture and will showcase his bold vision and unbridled creativity through the lens of classic European charm and modern luxury.

“When we think of the country’s elite architectural talent, Stratton Andrews is one of the top names the comes to mind,” said Jeremy Takas, Principal at Silver Sky Development. “Nova not only impresses with its beautiful design, but with it’s intuitive functionality. We can’t wait to see Stratton make his mark on Silver Sky Paradise Valley.”

Nova is already creating buzz amongst the national architectural community. The National Association of Home Builders named Nova a winner in the On-the-Boards Single-Family Production Home category in the prestigious 2023 Best in American Living™ Awards (BALA). Award levels, including platinum, gold and silver, as well as Best in Region and Of the Year recipients, will be announced at the virtual award ceremony held during the 2024 International Builders’ Show, February 27-29, 2024 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Now in its milestone 40th anniversary year, BALA recognizes outstanding achievement by builders and design professionals in all sectors of the residential housing industry including single-family production, custom, multifamily, affordable, remodeling, community and interiors. BALA is built on the principle that all great homes start with great design, no matter cost or size.

“We were extremely thrilled to receive this award,” Andrews said. “Silver Sky will be the premiere benchmark for Paradise Valley development and design. We’re excited to help set that stage and be a part of the journey.”

In addition to Stratton Architects, Nova will feature the “who’s who” of luxury construction and design, including builder Arcadia Custom Builders, interior designer Holly Wright Design, lighting by Creative Designs in Lighting and landscaping from Berghoff Design Group.

“I loved the direction and focus of the architecture for this home and that it emphasized classic elements, but with a more modern scale and fresh approach,” said Holly Wright of Holly Wright Design. “I wanted to bring those elements into the interiors as well. I used classic finishes and approaches to tie into the architecture but then pushed modern detailing and unique proportions to make it feel fresh and more inventive.”

Additional Information about the BALA program can be found at www.bestinamericanliving.com. The 2023 Winners Portfolio, featuring design trends and project photographs, will be available online immediately following the ceremony.
